Peebles Pavilion Project

Construction Update:

The pavilion is finished, the brick walkway is complete and the Peebles Pavilion is ready for the start of the school year! We can't wait for the PES staff and students to enjoy this new outdoor space!

Peebles PTA plans to transform the empty space behind the Peebles library (left image below) into an open-air classroom similar to the ones at Marshall Elementary (right image below) and McKnight Elementary. The Peebles Pavilion will provide our students with the scientifically-proven benefits of outdoor education and serve as a lasting legacy of the pandemic, which has given us a greater appreciation of the outdoors and the resiliency of our children. The Pavilion Project has the full support of Peebles Elementary School Principal Susie Bjalobok and the North Allegheny School District.

As of March 2022, we are thrilled to announce that Peebles PTA has raised the funds necessary to construct the Peebles Pavilion outdoor classroom in July 2022 prior to the start of the 2022-23 school year!
