What We Do
Our PTA is made up of hard-working parents and teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. The PTA raises funds through our annual membership drive in September and various fundraisers throughout the school year. All money raised is invested in our students and teachers.
Some of the extra activities funded by the PTA for all students include:
- Assemblies
- Fall Family Social
- Field Trips
- Field Day
- Fifth Grade Celebration
- Home/School Folders
- Party Snacks
- Playground Equipment
- Teacher Appreciation Events
- Travel USA Day
- Traveling Art Gallery
- Annual $50 allotments for teachers for classroom supplies
Each year, talented PTA volunteers are responsible for creating the Peebles Yearbook and coordinating Peebles’ participation in district-wide events such as Elementary Football Night. The PTA also designates a Room Parent and party volunteers in each homeroom who facilitate three class parties (Halloween, Winter/Holiday and Valentine’s Day) and arrange class gifts for the teacher.
